Field options

Click a field to see its options on the right. What you see depends on the field.

Choices

• Layout: radio buttons and checkboxes one per line, Side by side, 2 columns or 3 columns. Phones always show one per line.
• “Other” choice: adds an Other option with its own text box. The typed answer is what is saved.
• Add many: paste one option per line, or Start from a list such as days, months, yes/no, satisfaction, agreement, US states or Canadian provinces.
• Show choices in a random order, pre-select choices, Add a “Select all” box, and set Fewest to pick and Most to pick.
• Long dropdowns and the Country list can get a search box. Image choices have a Picture size (Small, Medium, Large), and the text under each picture can be hidden.

Labels

Set Field labels for the whole form in the Settings tab, under Submit button: Above, Beside or Hidden (screen readers still read hidden labels). A field can use its own position instead of As the form sets it.

Text answers

• Most characters or Most words shows a live counter. Fewest characters sets a minimum.
• Answer must be: Anything, Numbers only, Letters only, US ZIP code, UK postcode, Canadian postal code, or your own Pattern with a Message when it does not match.
• Input mask formats the answer as people type, for example (999) 999-9999.
• Only accept these answers (such as promo codes) or Refuse answers with these words.

Name, address and phone

• Name format: a simple box, first and last, or first, middle and last. Every box label can be changed.
• Address: choose the Parts to ask for, rename each part, pick a Layout (Two per row, One per line, All on one line) and a Country chosen at the start.
• Phone: show a country-code picker beside the number. Numbers are saved in one international format, such as +923001234567.
• Email: Ask to type it twice to catch typos.

Dates and times

• Earliest date and Latest date: any date, today or a set date. Start with today’s date and Days that can’t be picked (for example weekends).
• Show in entries and emails as the date format you prefer, such as 25/09/2026 or 25 September 2026.
• Times get an Earliest time, Latest time, Allowed times (every 15 minutes, for example) and a 24-hour or 12-hour display.

Numbers, sliders and ratings

• Numbers: Decimal places, a thousands separator in entries and emails, and text Before the value or After the value (such as $ or kg).
• Sliders: Show the chosen value and tick marks.
• Ratings: a Look of stars, hearts, numbers or smileys, and How many.
