Privacy and data

  • Forms and entries are stored in your own WordPress database. Nothing is sent to FillKite.
  • IP addresses are stored only as a hash.
  • Data retention (form Settings tab): keep entries forever, or delete them automatically after a number of days. Spam is removed after 30 days.
  • Add a Consent field when you need people to agree before they send. Each ticked box keeps a Consent receipt: the exact wording, its version, the time and page, sealed so a later change shows. Press Print consent receipt on the entry for proof.
  • Who can use FillKite (Settings → Access): let each role build forms, see and answer entries, or both. Administrators always have both, and an entries-only role sees just FillKite → Entries.
  • When you delete the plugin, your data stays unless you turn on Delete all FillKite data when the plugin is deleted in Settings → Data.
