How the conditional logic works

This form shows or hides fields as people answer, so everyone sees only what matters to them.

  • “Was another vehicle involved?” appears only when “What happened?” is “A collision”.
  • “Other driver’s name” appears only when “What happened?” is “A collision” and “Was another vehicle involved?” is “Yes”.
  • “Other vehicle’s registration” appears only when “What happened?” is “A collision” and “Was another vehicle involved?” is “Yes”.
  • “Was anyone hurt?” appears only when “What happened?” is “A collision”.
  • A notice appears only when “Was anyone hurt?” is “Yes”.
  • “Police reference number” appears only when “What happened?” is “Theft”.
